LAWSUIT FILED ON BEHALF OF HIV/AIDS PATIENTS AGAINST CVS ARISING OUT OF MANDATORY MAIL ORDER PROGRAM

 

Whatley Kallas LLP, along with counsel at Consumer Watchdog, recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of four JOHN DOE plaintiffs against CVS Health Corporation, CVS Pharmacy, Inc., Caremark RX, LLC, Caremark, LLC, Caremark California Specialty Pharmacy, LLC, as well as a major employer, for their implementation of a mandatory mail order program to obtain life-sustaining specialty medications for the treatment of HIV/AIDS.  This action is similar to those filed, and in many cases resolved, against major insurance companies across the United States over the last several years.
