On December 15, 2023, CMS reopened its IDR portal to process all dispute types and granted extensions to certain deadlines. Specifically, CMS announced:
- For disputing parties engaged in IDR entity selection for batched disputes when the IDR portal temporarily closed, the deadline for selecting a certified IDR entity is December 29, 2023.
- Disputing parties with batched disputes impacted by the temporary suspension of the portal will be granted an additional 10 business days to submit offers.
CMS had previously announced that, through January 16, 2024, disputing parties will have 10 business days to select a certified IDR entity. CMA had also previously announced that it had directed IRD entities to grant disputing parties’ requests for additional time to respond to requests for information through January 16, 2024.
